Quadruple Pigeon Vaccine — 4-in-1 Protection Against PMV, Herpesvirus & Adenovirus

For the vaccination of pigeons from 4 weeks of age:

• To reduce mortality, frequency, and severity of clinical signs caused by Paramyxovirus Type 1 (PMV1)
• To reduce the severity of clinical signs, gross lesions, and viral shedding caused by Pigeon Herpesvirus (PHV1)
• To reduce the severity of clinical signs and gross lesions caused by Pigeon Adenovirus — specifically serotypes 7/E, 2/D, 3/D, and 4/C of subgroup I

Contraindications

None.

Adverse Reactions

Swellings of up to 1.0 cm in diameter may frequently occur at the injection site. These will gradually disappear within 9 days.

Adverse reaction frequency is classified according to the following standard veterinary terminology:

• Very common — more than 1 case per 10 animals treated
• Common — more than 1 but fewer than 10 cases per 100 animals treated
• Uncommon — more than 1 but fewer than 10 cases per 1,000 animals treated
• Rare — more than 1 but fewer than 10 cases per 10,000 animals treated
• Very rare — fewer than 1 case per 10,000 animals treated, including isolated reports

If you observe any side effects — even those not listed in this leaflet — or if you believe the vaccine has been ineffective, please consult an avian veterinarian.

Target Species

Pigeons.

Dosage & Route of Administration

• Dose: 0.3 ml single dose
• Route: Subcutaneous injection
• Site: Dorsal area of the neck, near the base toward the tail
• Age of first vaccination: From 4 weeks of age

Storage

• Store in a refrigerator between 2 °C and 8 °C (36 °F – 46 °F)
• Protect from direct light
• Do not freeze
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiration date

⚠️ For ornamental and racing pigeons only. Not for use in birds whose meat or eggs are intended for human consumption. Vaccine should only be administered by a person experienced with subcutaneous injection technique, or by a licensed avian veterinarian.
